SUSHI!!!

December 18, 2007

So my boss is taking me out to sushi tonight. I’m very excited. I haven’t had sushi in a long time. Tonight will definitely be a glorious one.

On a different but semi-similar note, I’ll be in need of a new job soon. I’m thinking about applying at Starbucks.

I don’t know.

That would be pretty cool. But at the same time, I’d like to be looking at jobs that have anything to do with films. A consistent job is what I’ll do and just try and pick up work with films as I go.

I will say that I will miss the kids I babysit a lot. As hard of a time as they give me, I really do love them. I will miss them greatly. I’ve watched these kids for over a year now. Hopefully I’ll still see them every now and then.

But I also said that about my Dominos job. I worked there for over 8 months. I said I would visit and I would here and there, but then I haven’t visited for over a year.

I guess we’ll see.

Badass Hand-off of The Week!!!

December 17, 2007

Oright.

So Nate and I drove up to Ron’s to get the set-up equipment for Sacredway (which is a church we’re planting in the Santa Clarita Valley). Lenny meets us up also, but he forgot to pick up the projector and the screen that morning for the Sacredway night. So I go with Lenny to pick up the screen but the projector is with Arnold and he’s on his way to a softball game.

Lenny was not a fan of the senario because now we had to drive extra far to get the projector and drive back. So we’re going up Soledad and we actually see Arnold’s truck.

Lenny and I started plotting of how we could maybe grab it from him on a red light so we wouldn’t have to go all the way to the park. So we get behind Arnold and then to the lane left of him and catch up.

All of a sudden, Arnold rolls down his window and is holding out the projector bag as we’re driving. So I fully extend my arm as Lenny drives closer in to Arnold’s lane and I intercept the projector…AS WE’RE DRIVING… we then made a u-turn and laughed about it the whole way back.

Our adrenalin was rushing so bad. It was pretty awesome. Lenny texted Arnold, “I love you” after that.

And that my friends is the Badass Hand-off of the week.

Enjoy.
